THE OBJECTIVE
The goal of this website is to introduce and teach users about the basic fundamentals of HTML5 and CSS3, as well as advanced web designing techniques. Users will learn about everything from the functionally and usage of HTML5 Semantic Tags and CSS3 Media Queries. This will also teach users how to create Microformats, and even create Animation on a webpage.
What you can expect from this site is a clear explanation of each of the tutorial’s subjects, along with step by step examples. Fully interactive HTML Code editors within each of the tutorials, and quizzes will help you by testing knowledge. This website’s tutorials will work in HTML5; all users are expected to know how to build and stylize a website. HISTORY OF HTML5
In 2004, a Group of developers from tech companies (i.e., Apple, Mozilla, and Opera) who were dissatisfied with the development of XHTML and wanted to advance the capabilities of HTML, form the Web HyperText Application Technology Working Group (known by its acronym, WHATWG). Eventually, WHATWG teamed with the World Wide Web Consortium or W3C to create an improved form of HTML to replace XHTML. In 2008, HTML5 debuted.
TThere are advantages to using HTML5. Web developers have the capacity to incorporate web browsers to enhance the user’s online experience. HTML5 allows for simpler implementation of multimedia content like video and audio, as well as limiting the need for flash.
